Data replacement

Menu: Project > Configurations > Data replacement...

Dockable panel > Contextual menu of Project: Configurations > Data replacement...

The configuration files for data replacement are the result of saving the changes made during previous use of the data replacement command.

The left part of the dialog box displays the configurations available at application level, in other words common to all projects. The right part of the dialog box lists all configurations available uniquely in the current project.

New: Creates a new configuration file. A dialog box opens asking you to select the type of configuration to create, in IEC standard or DIN standard.

Delete: Deletes the selected configuration file.

Properties: Edits the selected configuration file.

Duplicate: Copies a configuration file. A message asks you if you would like to open the file to modify it.

Add to project / to application: Adds configurations available at application level to your project and, in the same way, to make a configuration you have created for your project available at application level.

Archive: Creates a configuration archive file. This feature is used to exchange configuration files.

Unarchive: Recovers a configuration file that was initially archived.

Rename: Renames the selected configuration file. A dialog box opens asking you to define the new name of the file.

The modification of a configuration file (Properties icon) opens a wizard for data replacement and lets you save the settings made.
