Unarchive an existing project

Projects manager > Unarchive

Unarchiving a project lets you restore a previously archived project. This consists of opening a project which had previously been archived. SOLIDWORKS Electrical will prompt you to select the archived TEWZIP file.

The unarchiving command has 2 options. The first Unarchive option lets you unarchive the project with options. The second Unarchive and open option lets you unarchive the project and open it automatically without selecting options. The properties of the project are automatically validated and the data is not updated.

The project properties dialog box opens allowing you to modify project data. After validation, a new dialog opens, where you can define what data will be imported and how it will be handled.

If the update option is selected, the update wizard will be opened automatically, where you can manage the data to be unarchived.

A pop-up will then ask whether the project should be opened immediately or whether you want to stay in the projects manager.
